Taizé in the Sanctuary
Monday, March 27, 7:00-8:00pm
Our monthly Taizé service has no order of service or sermon. We enter a candle-lit space where musical instruments are playing softly. Voices may be singing or chanting, inviting others to join. We follow the model established by the Taizé Community (in Taizé, France), an international, ecumenical, contemplative community advocating for peace and justice since 1940. This is a simple style of worship comprised of music, silence, and readings to encourage thoughtfulness and a peaceful mind. Join us for a beautiful musical meditation service.
We typically offer this service on the fourth Monday evening of the month September through May.
