Everyday Integrity: The Challenge

Rev. Christine Riley

In our contemporary culture, “integrity” is a word that we hear less and less. When our attention is focused toward integrity, it is often now related to its absence. We are all Connected

Carrie Krause (in the sanctuary); Kelli Cook, Darolyn Wylie (at the campout)

Join us at the all-church campout at Stub Stewart State Park or in the sanctuary at UUCCWC for an intergenerational celebration of our connectedness. We will sing, reflect and experience the joy of our community and the wonder of the world beyond ourselves in a worship service honoring our 7th principle – respect for the interdependent web of all existence.

The Importance of Faith Community in Family Life

Sara Cloe, Director of Religious Exploration

Why is active engagement in faith community so important for families? How do we support one another, not only during the troubled times, but in all of the ups and downs of family life? We will explore this topic with our Religious Educator, as she offers her professional and personal perspective.

Spiritus Contra Spiritum

The Addictions Ministry Team

The word addict comes from the Latin addictus, meaning “being awarded to another as a slave.” What is it that enslaves an addict? Are an addict’s loved ones similarly entrapped? How might addictions have a spiritual basis? Come and explore these issues in this service crafted by members of our congregation’s Addictions Ministry Team.

Exploring the Multi-Cultural Metaphor

Allison Wilski

One of the latest UU "buzzwords" is multi-culturalism. But do we know what this really means? This service will explore some of our beliefs about culture, ethnicity, and race, and examine how we can become truly inclusive in our church community and in our daily lives.
