Who gets to make history, and how do we get to experience it? What do we lose when we let news-media and history books editorialize our stories to decide which parts are worth telling? What happens when we mythologize the character of an influential individual? Why are the LA riots familiar while the Tulsa riot is, by many, still forgotten? What is the untold herstory of social movements, and how can we reconnect with it?
Kaylee shares part of her story, distilled from a selection of her experiences and emotions within Black Lives Matter and other social movements. She invites you to bring your story too.
