UUCCWC welcomes all children, youth and their families. Parents and other members of the congregation volunteer to teach and assist during RE lessons. We encourage all members of the congregation to volunteer with the children and youth. Teaching can be a very fulfilling way to deepen one’s own faith.
Because we value the special circle of trust that we have created here, we require all adult volunteers who work with children and youth to consent to a background check. Additionally, RE Volunteers work in teams of two in the classroom for safety reasons.
