Rev. Lena Breen and the UUCCWC Choir
Answering “YES” to life takes collective support as well as fortitude and a daily practice of gratitude. A community of like minded people can help us with “YES”. It’s then possible to roll our sleeves up and sing and speak of hope and joy while hammering nails of justice and peace.
Reverend Lena Breen is a UU minister of 30 years having served six churches, worked at our Boston headquarters as Director of Religious Education, worked as a chaplain in hospitals and jails, and was a teacher of handicapped children and adults. She lives near family in Portland and helps care for her grandson, teaches yoga, works on her home and in her gardens, volunteers with children, and continues to enjoy part time ministry, while relishing her retirement.
