In addition to short-term solutions to help people in need, we need long-term solutions to the housing crisis. Even if everyone wants more housing, the collective action problem can make things worse. Well-meaning strategies can make things worse. We’ll look at the shadow side of freedom, and the shadow side of interdependence, and consider how to make this a place that weird people can again afford to call home.
