Sources of Our Unitarian Universalist Faith: Exploring our Sixth UU Source

Reverend Christine Riley, Music Director Raymond Elliott and the UUCCWC Choir

This morning we continue to explore our Unitarian Universalist Sources.  We gather to reflect on our 6th UU Source which proclaims that our living tradition draws on many Sources including the spiritual teaching of Earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of Nature.  Easier said than done in our contemporary world.  Easier believed than lived in our daily choices.  The late poet, Mary Oliver, often insightfully articulated our human connection to the Natural World.  This morning we consider her words in the context of global environmental torment at our hands.  Our shared liberal religious faith offers us guidance towards action and support for finding our own voices.
