This summer we will be highlighting the role of helpers, healers and heroes in making a difference in our communities and our world. Today we will call attention to those invaluable individuals who volunteer their time and energy to serve others and make the world a better place. We will especially honor those many volunteers who make up the caring, supporting structure within our church community. We are suggesting that everyone wear a hat, so we can all “tip our hats” to the volunteers.
